North Salop Wheelers

11/09/2026

A successful day at the Market Drayton Volunteers Fair. The event was very well supported.
Mark and I were there to recruit new members to our team.
North Salop Wheelers are in need of more drivers and also Passenger Assistance.
If you feel you can spare a few hours a month then do please get in touch.
This is a much needed service and is very rewarding for those in the team.

On behalf of Wem Rural Parish Council, Cllr Julia Goode and Cllr Mark Goode had great pleasure in presenting North Salop Wheelers with a cheque for £800.
Robin Nelson accepted the cheque with grateful thanks.
Robin and Mark are both Trustees of this fabulous charity.
Earlier in the day, Robin took possession of a brand new minibus bringing the total number back up to four.
North Salop Wheelers are always on the lookout for people who can spare a few a few hours a month to assist either as a driver, passenger assistant or Trustee.
If you are interested then do please get in touch.

I am delighted to report that following on from our recruitment drive at the Co-Op in Wem earlier this month we now have 2 new members of the team! Welcome Isla and Mariella, thank you both so much.
However, we are still in great need of drivers and Passenger Assistants, so if by any chance you can possibly spare a few hours a month do please contact us.
