Sandfield House Farm Caravan Park is an award winning touring park on the outskirts of Whitby, North Yorkshire.

Set in the beautiful undulating country side of the North Yorkshire Moors coastline and is only one mile away from the centre of Whitby. All the pitches are level with electric hook-ups and hard-standings and most of the pitches have a sea-view. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. The Park is only one mile away from the centre of Whitby and on an half hourly bus route. Reasonably priced taxis are also available to and from the town centre.

Pros:

We wanted to let you know that installation of a new phone line will be taking place in the park from next Tuesday 5th May and will continue over the following few days.

📞 Phone lines and WiFi services will remain unaffected.
🔧 There may be some minor noise disruption during the works.
🚧 During this time, we will be operating one entrance or exit barrier at a time to allow safe underground installation.

The work is expected to last up to 3 days. We appreciate your patience and support as we continue to improve the park for everyone.

🍕 Pizza Van Update 🍕

Due to a family wedding for our lovely Lucy, the pizza van won’t be open this Friday evening. 💒

She’ll be back next Friday 8th May, ready to serve up all your favourite pizzas!

We love welcoming both new and returning guests to our cottages, so here’s everything you need to know about our easy booking and check-in process:

✨ Booking Your Stay
Book directly through our website or over the phone. We’ll ask for a few key details:
Your contact information
Car registration (for our ANPR cameras)
Email address (for confirmations & check-in details)
Whether you’re bringing a dog (selected properties only)

📩 After You Book
You’ll receive a confirmation email.Please read it carefully and let us know if anything doesn’t look right. We also recommend having your own travel insurance for peace of mind before and during your stay.

🗺️ Planning Ahead
7 days after booking, we’ll send you a detailed guide packed with everything you need to know plus local recommendations and things to do so you can make the most of your stay.

💳 Balance Payments
If you’ve booked directly:
Smaller cottages: balance due 30 days before arrival
Sandfield House: balance due 60 days before arrival

🔑 Arrival Day
At 1pm, you’ll receive your check-in details and access codes via email.
Check-in from 3pm (smaller cottages)
Check-in from 4pm (Sandfield House)

Then it’s time to relax and enjoy your stay!
