We’re excited to share that our Managing Director, Vicky Brown, has been selected as a finalist in the Driven Leader category in the Enterprise Vision Awards. This is all the more special as she was nominated by Marc Humphreys, a member of our team. The EVAs are national awards, so the competition was extremely high. Whatever happens on the evening being selected as a finalist is amazing.

This follows on from Vicky winning Business Person Of The Year award at the amazing Britain's Energy Coast Business Cluster awards in November 2025 and The Mayors Award for Business Hero Of The Year in May 2025, congratulations on all of the success so far 🤩

As with everything we work together on with Workington Town Community Trust, we’re excited to extend our youth clubs in Workington to hosting a number of them at Broughton Moor Primary School starting on 29th April.

As someone who grew up and still lives in Broughton Moor I know how little there is for our kids to do here so please support this and give our project the success it needs to support more initiatives in the village.

Vicky

We’re excited to share some fantastic news with our community! 🎉

We will soon be hosting a Pop-Up Youth Club in partnership with Workington Town Community Trust.

Workington Town Community Trust already runs a range of brilliant youth clubs across the area, providing safe, welcoming spaces where young people can socialise, take part in fun activities, build confidence, and develop new skills. Their sessions are always engaging, inclusive, and focused on supporting young people to thrive.

The club will be open to all young people aged 8–14 years (Year 3 to Year 9), and we’re looking forward to welcoming children from across the community.

There is no cost to attend, making this a great opportunity for everyone to get involved.

In order to attend, all young people must have a signed and completed consent form. These forms can be collected from the school office.

Please note: this youth club is not being run by the school — we are simply providing the venue.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We can’t wait to see everyone there! 🎉

This new pop-up club has come directly from your voices. Through our School Council, and by working closely with Broughton Moor Development Group and Active Cumbria, we have listened carefully to what our village wanted — and a youth club was high on the list!

We’re really looking forward to bringing this opportunity to our young people and can’t wait to see it get started.

What an amazing start to our Wild Horizon Youth Project 🌊🌿

We were delighted to support Day 1 of this fantastic initiative alongside The Decommissioning Alliance (TDA) and Workington Town Community Trust, helping 16 brilliant young people enjoy an unforgettable outdoor adventure at Hawes End.

From exploring the Lakes and team-building activities to paddleboarding and outdoor discovery, it was incredible to see the confidence, teamwork and smiles grow throughout the day 🙌

A huge well done to everyone involved — especially Paul, Chris and Barney — and thank you to Marc Humphreys and Debbie McNicholas for making sure the children were comfortable, happy and fully able to enjoy every moment.

We’re incredibly proud to help deliver this project as well as provide the travel and staff support. We love being able to be a part of creating opportunities like this for young people in our community.

This is just Day 1 of 7, and we can’t wait to see what’s next 👏

From day one, 3.5 years ago, No Name Travel has been committed to playing a meaningful role in making our community a better place. From providing transport for schools as part of our social value initiatives, to releasing staff to support projects like The Bright Stars Project and careers days, supporting The Decommissioning Alliance’s care-experienced young people’s days, and sponsoring local sports teams — every bit of it has brought us a huge sense of pride.

Our greatest community achievement, however, has been our partnership with Workington Town Community Trust. Being able to financially support the Trust and help deliver such incredible projects has been a real privilege. You can read more below about our work with Allerdale Day Services, but that’s just one part of the story. There’s also the youth club, our work in schools, and seeing T, Zarrin and Paul regularly reading with pupils - the impact that goes far beyond sport alone.

One project we are especially proud of is the Wild Horizons Youth Project. Last year, through a collaboration between No Name Travel, Workington Town Community Trust and The Decommissioning Alliance, we fully funded 20 local children to attend a week-long Outward Bound summer adventure. This year, the project has grown even further, with 30 children taking part in fully funded day trips and a weeks summer adventure at Hawes End Activities Centre. It’s a project we’re passionate about — and one we hope to grow year after year.

For us, social value is not an add‑on — it is a core business commitment. We believe strong partnerships, purposeful investment and long‑term thinking are essential to building resilient communities and delivering impact that truly lasts.

We were thrilled to receive this lovely message from a parent about our amazing driver, Rob and passenger assistant Pam.

At No Name Travel, we believe transport is more than just getting from A to B – it’s about care, understanding, and making every journey a positive experience.
