Luke is now away enjoying a well-earned family holiday for the next 10 days.

Don’t worry though – it’s business as usual! Kevin will be looking after the phone and will be on hand to help with any calls, enquiries and bookings while Luke is away.

🚘 Not a bad view from the office…

Saturday night’s job saw Luke heading from Leigh-on-Sea to Heathrow in the Mercedes S-Class, helping a newly married couple begin their honeymoon in style.

While most people were settling down for the evening, we were on the road making sure our passengers arrived comfortably, safely and on time.

Today is a little different for us.

Burnetts of Essex was built on hard work, determination and a promise.

When Luke took the leap and started the business, his Dad, Neil, was one of the first people to believe in him. He backed him from the very beginning and helped him take that first step.

Sadly, Neil passed away just 11 months after the business started, but his belief, encouragement and support remain at the heart of everything Burnetts of Essex stands for today.

Every early morning, every late-night airport run, every wedding, race day and special journey has been driven by the same goal, to make him proud.

Today we remember Neil Anthony Burnett, the reason behind Burnetts of Essex, and all the dads, grandads and father figures who continue to inspire us every day.
