There was a time when as a busy taxi driver, getting to bed at 06:00 on a Sunday Morning was completely normal after a busy Saturday night of transporting the weekend party people from bars, clubs and random kitchens safely home to their beds.
Nowadays it's an early night and a 06:00 alarm to get a group of young runners over for the start of the Oxford Half Marathon.
Good luck to everyone running today. Have Fun.

Busy weekend with 6 airport runs between Friday Afternoon and Sunday night, 3 Birmingham trips and 3 Heathrow's.
Got a couple of clear days in the diary now so I'm gonna stretch my legs and enjoy some long dog walks and have a catch up with an old friend who's visiting the area for work.

My diary is open til the end of the year and into 2027 so if you're planning a winter break and require a comfortable, spacious ride to the airport anytime night or day or you're looking to organise transport for a Christmas Party or event get in touch and book up early before the diary fills up.

Decent run down to Gatwick to drop a lovely family off who are heading away to celebrate Mum's Birthday in the Sun.
Got a couple of hours to chill out in my favourite little lay up now before I need to head down to Southampton for my next pick up.
It's nice to be your own boss really.

04:30 start for a run down to Heathrow with a special young lady heading away with family to celebrate turning 21.
Happy Birthday, have a great time. 🍾🥂🎉🎂

It's a bit fresh out there this morning so take care on the roads if you're traveling anywhere. The temperature gauge dropped down to -6°C at the lowest on the journey, which is quite cold by normal standards but I guess it is relatively mild compared to the -32°C I was unlucky enough to find myself in at around this time of year many moons ago when I was approaching 21, which makes me feel both old and cold. 🤣

Final airport run of the year delivered overnight, taking local Rock n Roll Superstar Cody and his excited family down to Heathrow to jet off to Australia for the holiday of a lifetime.

I'm signing off now and taking just my 2nd New Year's Eve off work since 2001. I'll be back to it on the 2nd January so I'd just like to take this opportunity to wish all my regular clients, valued customers old and new and all my friends and family a very Happy, Successful and Holiday filled 2026.

If you're booking your overseas getaways in January you know where to come for safe, reliable airport transport.

Have a great night whatever you're up to, wrap up warm and stay safe.

Big Love ❤️

On the road at 03:15 down to Luton Airport for a drop off, then back to Heathrow to pick up a special friend who's come home from Hong Kong to surprise her family for Christmas. No doubt Jenny Lam will be making a guest appearance working in The Water Margin before Christmas Eve so pop in and see her for a delicious Chinese takeaway.
Just one more Heathrow pick up this evening then I'm off til the 29th to enjoy the Festivities.

Cobham services we meet again, twice in one day for food dates, people will be talking. Greggs for Breakfast, KFC for tea, living the junk food dream today.

Typically my next flight into Gatwick is delayed by an hour, not surprising as the weather is horrendous down here and the M25 is chaos.
Why can't people drive with a bit of common sense when it's pouring down and there's surface water and spray everywhere? Baffles me.

I don't supply children's car seats as I would need to hold many different sizes in all the different configurations they could be needed, it also isn't a legal requirement in Taxis. However I am happy to pick up, drop off or hold on to your car seats while you're away if you wish to use them and fit them in the taxi yourself. Your safety and peace of mind is paramount.
