The time has come to find my beloved lorry a new home 🥹

Have owned for 4 years- and has been the most super lorry!

Not only the strongest transport lorry travelling hundreds of horses and ponies- But also taken myself and my daughter up and down the country to shows and has been super lucky! 🍀

Please share!

And pop me a PM for full details 🥰🥹🚚

That’s February wrapped up! 🙌

And dare I say it……. It may even be warming up a tad 🙈

But one thing is for certain- the nights are certainly drawing out!!!! 🙌

Another busy month- and another busy week!

Finished off the weekend with a lovely regular self drive hire customer yesterday- who also came baring w**e when she dropped the lorry back! 🍷 and as per normal the lorry was immaculately clean on return!

Today was a horse that can be a ‘tricky loader’ between myself and the owner he was on in less than 10 mins- and safely delivered home ❤️

Chief Co Pilot Rolo 🐶🐾 was on form today! Being the best company-
Listening to my hideous singing- despite a few eye rolls 🤣

Now to catch up with messages- and make plans for March! 💪

The best phone calls are the ones from the emergancy calls- to say they are all better!!!!! Are you able to bring them home ❤️

I told Oscar’s owners they were lucky I took him home to them- I’d have quite liked to bring him back home with me 🤣 and as most people know I only own ‘ponies’ not ‘horses’ but Oscar was 18’3 hh of kind gentle giant ❤️

Wishing him to continue his speedy recovery with his lovely owners!

at its best having the space and weight capacity to carry such big precious cargo! With the sliding partition that takes just seconds to push across 🙌

What a week- sadly not all for the right reasons.

Nearly 01:00am and I’ve just got home-
Another long evening/ night with another emergency to this week.

Georgia at was absolutely brilliant treating the initial signs so so quickly- and making the horse comfortable enough for me to travel.

🙏 he makes a very speedy recovery- he really is his owners heart horse ❤️

Where ever possible I’m always available 24/7 in case of emergencies-with NO extra charges for anything out side of ‘normal’ working hours.

I’m not one to overthink things… but birthdays and emergency call-outs seem to go hand in hand for me 🎂🚛

In an average year I might get 2–3 emergency calls outside of normal hours — yet for the past THREE birthdays in a row, I’ve had a call on the day!

This afternoon, after finishing my family birthday lunch, I headed out to help a customer with a horse that wasn’t keen to load. After 2.5 hours of trying, they called me — and within 30 minutes of working together, he loaded beautifully and travelled like a dream to his new home. Sometimes all it takes is a fresh pair of eyes.

Then this evening I received a call from a new customer, after being recommended by a local vets practice. A very poorly boy needed transport to . One of the biggest horses I’ve ever travelled — an impressive 18’3 gentle giant and an absolute sweetheart. Wishing him every bit of luck and hoping he’s back home with his lovely owner very soon 🤍

Not quite the quiet birthday I expected, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

No better way to start a Monday than with a Challenge!!! 💪

First challenge- ‘don’t fall in the mud’ by some miracle that was achieved!

Next challenge- safely load a 3 year old unhandled pony- also successfully achieved ✔️

With the assistance of the local vet for some sedation to be able to handle and load him safely- and a team effort he loaded really sweetly into the lorry.

Travelled really well- the next challenge- catch him in the box 🙈 to unload!

All ended really well!
Happy Pony- Very happy new owner!
Who already updated me today and he is really settled and already being much more accepting of people! 🥰

Wishing them all the luck! And looking forward to seeing updates!

Honestly… the excitement over washing the lorry today was unreal 🤣🚿
I can’t believe it’s been nearly a whole week since I’ve been able to give it a proper wash thanks to frozen taps, frozen hoses, and a ramp and floor that would’ve turned into an ice rink 🧊❄️

Safety always comes first 🐴
Between each horse the lorry has of course been fully disinfected, and all owners made aware that a full wash just wasn’t possible in the freezing temperatures — icy floors and ramps are a hard no 🚫

But today… the taps finally defrosted, the weather behaved (just enough!), and the lorry got a very well-deserved proper scrub 🧽✨
All clean, fresh and ready to be collected this afternoon by one of our lovely regular self-drive hire customers 🚛💛

Sometimes it’s the little things 😆

Busy start to the new year and a busy start to the week 🚚
Over 850 miles driven so far!

As most people know, I’m much more of a morning person than an evening one and usually like to leave early. But with the unpredictable weather this week (snow and ice ❄️), I grabbed the opportunity while the roads and weather looked ‘ok’ and I headed off at lunchtime instead — making my way down to the New Forest with another very important little pony 🐴

Arriving in the New Forest at sunset was something else… absolutely stunning. Ponies, foals, cows and donkeys roaming the heathland — it honestly looked magical ✨

Now safely home, enjoying a well-earned cup of tea ☕️ while catching up on all the messages and quotes I missed during today’s driving hours.

An early start and a very cold morning… but oh my goodness, so worth it 🤍❄️

Turning up to the most polite, happy little girl, absolutely buzzing with excitement to meet her new pony 🐴✨
Moments like this are exactly why I do what I do.

And a huge thank you to the loveliest customer for the Prosecco and Flowers — such a thoughtful surprise and very much appreciated 🥂💐

One very special pony, one very lucky little girl 💕
