Word on the street in York today is that The King has arrived for what might be his most important royal duty yet: unveiling a massive photo of the 16-seater minibus from Ebor Minibuses.
Yes, forget crowns, castles, and constitutional matters — today His Majesty is reportedly standing proudly beside a very large picture of a vehicle that’s seen more hen parties than Buckingham Palace has seen corgis.
Eyewitnesses claim he nodded respectfully at the photo, as if acknowledging years of loyal service transporting slightly rowdy groups to race days, weddings, and that one mysterious “team-building weekend” no one ever talks about again.
Rumour has it he even asked, “Does it come with aux cable privileges?” before being gently redirected back to the ceremonial plaque.
