Two years ago, Hurricane Beryl changed Carriacou forever.

Like many people, I saw the heartbreaking images and wondered how such a beautiful island would recover. The last few weeks, I finally had the chance to visit… and honestly, I had one of the best experiences!

The beaches are stunning, the people are warm and welcoming, the food is incredible, and the island’s spirit is something truly special.

Recovery is still ongoing, and one of the best ways we can support Carriacou is simply by visiting. Stay in a guesthouse, take a tour, buy from local vendors, eat in local restaurants, and put money directly back into the hands of the people who call this island home.

Carriacou isn’t looking for sympathy…it’s ready for visitors.
