Marmara beach is one of the most popular beaches of Sfakia. It is located on the southern coast of western Crete, in Chania, five kilometers west of the village of Loutro, and the beach is just off the Gorge of Aradaina.
"Marmara" means "marbles" in Greek and the beach was named after the towering white rocky cliffs that surround it. Although it is relatively inaccessible, the beach of Marmara surprisingly gathers an adequate amount of visitors.

Seitan Limania is a well-hidden corner of the northeast side of the Akrotiri peninsula, 20 km from the city of Chania.
There you will find a beach that differs from other beaches.
In a savage landscape, with vertical steep rocks and wild beauty there is an element that can soothe the eye: the northern bay that crafts the tiny but beautiful beach of S.Stephen with its deep blue water. The beach consists of thin shingle and sand that is brought there by the regional quarries through the “diploharalo” gorge. On the two sides rise high two marble rocks protecting the bay from the fierce winds.

Loutro village is located at the south of Chania. The only access is by boat from the port of Chora Sfakion or as you wish, by foot. There are no overcrowded streets and beaches, and of course there are no cars!
There are several restaurants, a couple of cafes that turn into bars at night, mini markets, as well as several small hotels, all with sea views.
Here you will find the rest and peace you are looking for and if you want there are lots of things to do.
The beach in Loutro has large white pebbles and crystal blue waters.
Enjoy walking in the scenic, unspoilt mountain countryside with its valleys and gorges.
