Just received the most wonderful email from Charles and Dorothy who booked our South Crete taxi tour. They said:
We are now back home after our wonderful holiday in Crete.

It was good to talk with you while we were in Rethymnon and we would like to thank you for your help during our stay in arranging for us to have a taxi excursion with Kostas. We had a splendid time with him. He is an excellent driver and was good company during the day, showing us some interesting and beautiful places and giving us history and knowledge.

Yiannis Stilianou of is a wine grower and a history buff, strategically located between the historic mountains where Zeus rests, and the Minoan ruins of Knossos. He is also one of the kindest people we have ever met, a rare quality we greatly appreciate. He and his teenage son spend most of their time working manually the 3 hectares of dry, unsprayed and organic vineyards of local, indigenous Cretan grapes (Vidiano, Thrapsathiri, Vilana for whites, and Kotsifali, Mandilari for reds). Come by today, June 21, 1pm - 4pm at the tasting, at and taste the organic wines of Stilianou and other Cretan wines, and explore the unique richness of Cretan indigenous grapes and winemaking tradition.
