Lasithi Plateau-Zeus Cave-Kera Monastery-Krasi

By the top of the mountain exists the cave of god Zeus where he was born. On our way back we meet Kera Monastery,a christian orthodox church built in 1498. In conclusion Krasi is a place highly recommended for the good eaters where you can taste greek traditional dishes enjoying the cool breeze under the 2400 years old plane tree.

Aghios Nikolaos is one of the most picturesque cities in Crete. The city is build around the sea, giving you the sense there is a lake known as Lake Voulismeni. Following the route we go to the next worldwide famous village named Elounda,where famous personalities spend their holidays. After 5 kilometers there is Plaka with numerous greek fishing restaurants where also you can take the boat and go to Spinalonga,an uninhabited island that used to be a place to stay for the people that had leprocy back in 1950s!

Beginning from one of the biggest aquariums in Europe,highly recommended for families where you can see hundreds species of sea creatures.Then the old Knossos is a MUST see in Heraklion where you can travel back in the time of 5.500 b.C.
