Today, Greece celebrates one of its most cherished traditions—the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, often called the "Easter of the Summer."
Featured here is the magnificent Panagia Ekatontapyliani (Church of 100 Doors) in Paros, one of the oldest and best-preserved Early Christian monuments in the Mediterranean. Legend says the church has 99 visible doors, while the 100th remains secret, waiting to be revealed.
