Since then GEM Travel is enjoying a dynamic growth every year, regarding the number of the passengers and the markets that we provide our services. The knowledge and the professionalism of the owner and his team, develop long term partnerships with tour operators from 22 markets. From 2014, GEM Travel starts operating in Kos Island, offering a full package of tourism services such as hotels, trans

The main office of Gem Travel is in Rhodes. We are operating with our own offices in Kos Island and we have a strong network of partnership’s round all Greek Islands. We’re excited to continue our sustainability journey together with easyJet and our partners in Mykonos Azzurro Travel, taking meaningful steps to protect the environments we operate in.

📍In Mykonos, we recently hosted an awareness event dedicated to Posidonia oceanica seagrass — one of the Mediterranean’s most valuable yet vulnerable ecosystems.

Known as the “lungs of the sea,” Posidonia plays a vital role in capturing carbon, supporting marine life, and protecting our coastlines. Through this initiative, we brought together experts and the local community to highlight why its protection matters now more than ever.

Because real change happens when we work together. And this is just the beginning.

Gem Group of Companies and easyjet holidays delivered to the Municipality of Rhodes the first public litter and recycling bins in and around the Old Town of Rhodes — a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The initiative was fully funded by GEM Group and easyJet holidays aς part of their shared sustainability strategy, reflecting a long-term commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism.

The bins:
• have been specially designed to blend seamlessly with the historic character of the medieval city,
• are fully compliant with all required construction and design standards,
• and are officially approved by the Greek Government.

If just 40% of annual visitors recycle a single plastic water bottle using these facilities, more than 1,000,000 bottles could be recycled each year — creating a meaningful and lasting impact for this remarkable destination, protecting cultural heritage while promoting sustainable tourism practices.

Small actions. Lasting impact.

Sustainability isn’t a promise for us — it’s a plan in motion.

This year, we expanded our electric fleet with 4 new EVs across the islands:
🚗 +2 in Rhodes | 🚗 +1 in Kefalonia | 🚗 +1 in Kos

That brings our total to 10 electric vehicles across Greece.

In 2025, our electric mobility journey helped us achieve measurable impact:

✅ 1,000,000+ km driven

✅ 15,000 people served

✅ 32,000 liters of diesel saved

✅ 86 tons of CO₂ emissions avoided


And we’re aiming even higher for 2026:

🎯 65,000 liters of diesel saved
🎯 175 tons of CO₂ avoided

Because every kilometer can be cleaner—and every choice can move us forward. 💚
