Nyepi Laut 2024 will be held on 18th October 2024, 1 day after the 4th full moon (purnama kapat)
Nyepi Laut, or Silent Sea is honoured on Nusa Lembongan, Ceningan and Penida to thank the sea and oceans for the bounty they provide.

During Nyepi Laut there are no boats to and from Bali, no water activity of any kind including swimming, snorkelling, diving, surfing. Walking along the beach is allowed but not walking in the water. There will be ceremonies talking place during the day.
