⚠️ Route 228 Service Update

Due to roadworks on the R600 between Riverstick and Belgooly, Route 228 will be affected on Tuesday 2 June and Wednesday 3 June from 08:00 to 18:00 each day.

The following bus stops will not be served during those times:

❌ Riverstick
❌ Belgooly

Passengers should use the following stops:

✅ Kinsale
✅ Five Mile Bridge

Please allow extra time for your journey, as delays are expected in the area.

⚠️ Cork City Marathon Service Update

Due to the Cork City Marathon, some Cork City stops will not be served on Sunday, 31st May, during the marathon. Passengers should expect delays and are advised to check the live bus tracker on our website. Please read the full service update details below before you travel.

• Route 228:
During the marathon, Route 228 will only serve St Patrick’s Quay and City Hall until approximately 16:00.
The following stop will not be served on inbound or outbound services on Route 228:
❌ Grand Parade

Service to all bus stops will resume after the marathon. Passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journey, check the live bus tracker on our website before travelling and follow any updates issued throughout the day
