നിങ്ങൾ ഒരു ഡ്രൈവർ ആണോ? രാഷ്ട്രീയ, മത, വ? There are drivers with tremendous capacities and talents, who can do a lot of good for society.
The study conducted among the taxi drivers by the Sarathi volunteers came to the conclusion that this section of society is exploited, economically backward, and not organized at all in order to win over their rights in society. But the only thing that remain underlined about them is that there is no one to guide them, to motivate them, to improve themselves, to appreciate them for the good deeds
done by them. There is no one to put a new strength or power into them for their self growth, and to make them an integrated group of our society.

What We Do?
Provision of Insurance Coverage: Often the drivers insure the insurance policies at large available. Due to their negligence the family members suffer at crisis moment like accidents death etc. Free accidental insurance policies are provided to more than 16300 Taxi drivers.
Printed Materials: a News Letter called ‘Aikya Sarathi’- is distributed among the Drivers. The drivers voice and concerns are expressed and published through the newsletter. Through this magazine we try to motivate the drivers, instill the good qualities of unity, co-operation and self-dignity, which in turn is a catalyst for social development.
Sarathi Sticker: A symbol of friendship and mutual understanding among the drivers for better interactions.
Thank you cards: Thank you cards are provided to the drivers to give to the customers at the end of the journey, this will enhance mutual appreciation and support between the drivers and passengers.
ID Cards: Identity card is issued to drivers at the time of registering their names in the organization. This card will be a source of help especially at crisis moments like accidents, disputes and so on.
Saving and welfare Schemes: Welfare funds and small scale saving schemes are launched in different Taxi stands.
Communal Harmony: Awareness programmes are organized from town to town in different taxi-stands. The need for unity and co-operation are instilled in to them. Communal harmony is the main concerns of this programme.
Value Education: Education and training in etiquette and social mannerism to make them appealing to the customers are provided. Most of the drivers are from the interior village and hence need to be trained in this dimension.
Sarathi Self Help Groups: Many Self Help Groups are formed under the umbrella of Sarathi. Thus a Great unity is developed among the drivers.
