Advancing EXIM Logistics from Mysore Area

A business meet was hosted on 25-Apr-2026 by New Mangalore Port Authority in association with Mysore Chamber of Commerce & Industry at Mysore. The meeting has brought together key stakeholders of the Port including Shipping Lines, Exporters & Importers to accelerate efficient EXIM movement from the region.

Shri. M.P. Vijay Kumar, Chief Manager, CONCOR - Multimodal Logistics Park, Kadakola, Mysore explained the trade fraternity about CONCOR’s facilities and services offered at CONCOR’s Multimodal Logistics Park (MMLP) at Kadakola, which is set to commence EXIM operations shortly. This facility is expected to further strengthen regional supply chains by enhancing connectivity, reducing transit times, and supporting seamless multimodal movement for businesses across the Mysore region.

Strengthening Logistics Partnerships and Operational Excellence in Chennai

Shri Vijoy Kumar Singh, Director (International Marketing & Operations), CONCOR, visited ICD–Tondiarpet (TNPM) and the Port Side Terminal, Harbour of Madras (HOM) on 21 April 2026 and reviewed terminal infrastructure and operational facilities.

An interactive session was held at ICD–TNPM with customers including exporters, importers, and customs house agents. The session was chaired by Shri Vijoy Kumar Singh, along with Ms G. Gayatri, IRTS, Area Head–III, and Shri A. Vijuvin, IRTS, Cluster Head–Chennai and other CONCOR officials.

The discussion proved highly constructive, with stakeholders offered valuable insights and suggestions for business improvement.

ICD Tondiarpet /CONCOR/Area-IIII OPERATES 40’ CONCOR owned domestic container movement from Chennai.

CONCOR ICD Tondiarpet (TNPM) has launched its first domestic cargo movement using 40-ft CONCOR-owned containers from Chennai to Tughlakabad, Delhi.

In partnership with M/s TCI CONCOR, a total of 39 containers are being moved in this stream, marking a solid step towards expanding domestic rail logistics. What makes the movement even more meaningful is the end-to-end service, with CONCOR handling both first and last mile connectivity, giving customers a true door-to-door solution.

This initiative not only improves rail utilization for lightweight cargo but also adds momentum to greener, more sustainable logistics.

This initiative underscores CONCOR TNPM’s continued commitment towards delivering dependable, efficient, and cost-effective logistics.

In collaboration with M/s Hapag Lloyd, the train carried 90 x 20’ containers from Tuticorin to Chennai ICD, Tondiarpet—setting the tone for smoother, more efficient cargo movement on this route. With this movement, CONCOR is set forth to undertake more rail movements from Tuticorin.
