Trek to Kareri lake Tour

Package Duration : 6 Nights / 7 Days

Destination Covered : Mcleodganj - Kareri - Guna - Baga - Triund

Package Cost : 1800 p (per day)

Tour Itinerary :

Day 1: Mcleodganj - Kareri village (1800M) 13 Km

The trek goes through the pine forests and crosses several tribal villages on the way. Kareri is a tribal village. Night stay in tents.

Day 2: Kareri - Kareri lake (3300 M) 13 Km

Trail goes through mixed forests of oak.

Day 3: Kareri lake - Bagga (3250 M.) 10 Km

After a short ascent from the lake is a steep descent through the forest to Bagga.

Day 4: Bagga - Rawa Village (2950M) 8 Km

The trail goes downhill through the forest. Rawa village is situated on the bank of small river.

Day 5: Rawa - Guna Devi Temple (2120 M) 13 Km

It is a steep ascent through the forest to Guna Devi Temple, situated in the middle of the forest. Night stay in tents.

Day 6: Kareri Lake to Ghera

Today is going to be the less leg of the trek. Trek downhill till Ghera, as one will walk the hill, they will see a drastic change in geographic, forest and vegetation will start getting dense with every step. At Ghera, drivers will be waiting to drop off at McLeodganj hotel. From McLeodganj catch AC Volvo for Delhi. Overnight journey.

Day 7: Arrive Delhi

Arrival in Delhi marks the end of Kareri Lake Trek.
