• Shillong: 55–60 km | ~2 hrs
• Guwahati: 150–170 km | ~5–6 hrs
If travelling from Guwahati for sunrise, it's best to arrive the previous evening and stay at a local homestay.

🚖 Approx. Private Taxi Fare (Round Trip)
• Shillong: ₹3,500–₹5,000
• Guwahati: ₹7,000–₹10,000

Visitor Guidelines

Check sunrise timing before your trip.
Pre-book your homestay (limited availability).
Camping is not allowed.
Drive carefully—some roads are narrow and uneven.
Fill your fuel tank before leaving; no nearby petrol pump.
Carry some cash; network and UPI may be unreliable.
Wear warm clothes for early mornings.
Do not light fires.
Use water wisely—the village faces water shortages.
Entry Fee: ₹30/person.
Parking: Bike ₹30 | Car ₹50 | Bus ₹100.
No loud music, alcohol, or littering. Respect the village and its residents.
