New Travel Cut-Off Timings During Yatra 2026
GOVT NOTICE
Planning to visit Kashmir between 2nd July and 28th August 2026?
The Traffic Police J&K has issued a traffic advisory for tourists and Amarnath Yatra travelers.
Important points every tourist should know:
🕖 Travel During Daytime
Tourists are advised to travel within the Valley between:
7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
After 6:00 PM, further movement of tourist vehicles may
not be allowed.
🚗 Jammu to Kashmir Travelers Cut-off timings for tourist
Vehicles:
📍 Nagrota (Jammu): 12:00 PM
📍 Jakheni (Udhampur): 1:00 PM
📍 Chanderkote: 2:00 PM
📍 Lamber (Banihal): 3:00 PM
🚧 NAVYUG Tunnel Restriction
No tourist vehicles will be allowed to cross NAVYUG
Tunnel towards Kashmir after:
🕒 3:00 PM
🌿 Pahalgam Route
No tourist vehicles will be allowed from Pahalgam
towards Srinagar/Jammu after:
🕞 3:30 PM

Sonamarg Route
No tourist vehicles will be allowed from Sonamarg towards Srinagar after:
🕓 4:00 PM
Gulmarg Route
No tourist vehicles will be allowed from Gulmarg towards Srinagar after:
🕔 5:00 PM
