OUR SERVICES 1. Projects Management At P. N. Mashru Ltd, we apply knowledge, skills and techniques to execute projects effectively and efficiently. We formulate strategies, conduct surveys and determine business goals with a view to executing a client’s project to perfection beyond their expectation. We are usually involved in the initialization, planning, ex*****on, monitoring and the final closure of projects. We can execute building projects, exploration projects, civil construction projects, transportation projects and logistical support projects. We determine budgets; assess risks and completion timelines depending on project complexity. We keep in touch with the client to ensure that their goals are met and any changes in plan are incorporated into our planning. 2. Clearing & Forwarding At P. N. Mashru Ltd, we are engaged in provision any service, either directly or indirectly, concerned with the clearing and forwarding operations in the air or sea ports, border points and international exits, in any manner, to any other person. We also act as customs agents and consignment agents acting on behalf of the Kenya Revenue Authority and our customers respectively - collecting and delivering goods from a point of receipt to any customer appointed destination. We also do international forwarding in conjunction with reputable shipping companies, consolidation with groupage companies and export of all types of cargo and equipment. We handle goods in transit, goods for warehousing and duty paid goods for local consumption. We have a vast amount of Customs Transit Goods Bonds and can clear a substantial amount of transit goods without running out of bond. 3. Transport & Logistics P. N. Mashru Ltd is a leading transport company in East and Central Africa. We do offer a range of transport services ranging from fuel to containerized cargo. We are a regional, full service transport and logistics company offering scalable and flexible solutions to our customers – to and from any destination. We employ industry leading truck brands fitted with the latest cutting edge tracking technology. We are well connected to government agencies, parastatals, regional warehousing, port, factory and farm distribution network in East and Central Africa. We are accountable, have an acute attention to detail and offer a broad range of value added services such as sourcing, storage, warehousing and es**rt. In order to be the leaders in this industry, we constantly innovate, constantly seek improvements and are committed to service excellence. We have drop side, flat bed, skeletal and low boy services. We carry general cargo, containers, steel coils and wire, steel beams, food stuff, clinker, grain, salt. in our varied and special type equipment. Our team of skilled logisticians track the vehicles throughout the journey and advise the customer on the progress. We also have an efficient fleet management system that allows for efficient and effective transport solution thereby reducing running costs which in turn enable us to offer cost effective services to our customers. 4. Tipper Haulage P. N. Mashru Ltd has a fleet of tipper trucks which carry cement clinker, cement, salt, coal among other items. Our tipper trucks carry the said goods within Kenya and within Eastern Africa. 5. Out of Gauge and Heavy Lift Cargo P. N. Mashru Ltd owns heavy lift equipment for the conveyance of out of gauge and heavy cargo. We have trucks ranging from 360 to 580 horsepower and several kinds of low boy trailers. Our trailers range from simple lowboy 12M (40’) trailers, 32-tire trailers, modular trailers (with combo capabilities), step-frame trailers and dolly trailers. We can lift from 0 – 200 MT of cargo of up to 75 feet. Our experience in this field is phenomenal and we have a whole department dedicated to heavy lift cargo. 6. Storage and Warehousing P. N. Mashru Ltd is an integrated transport and logistics company which aims to achieve highest possible level of services to our customers. P .N. Mashru Ltd provide high levels of professional services, offering warehousing facilities for containerized, refrigerated and bulk cargo. P. N. Mashru is located in a very strategic area for easy transportation and distribution of cargo. We do have a 19,000 m3 Customs Transit Yard and warehouse located at Jomvu along Mombasa - Nairobi Highway in addition to a 210,000 m3 of open yard for storage of bulk cargo situated in Kokotoni and 87,000 m3 in Nairobi. Cargo Warehousing Services include: • Secure storage of valuable goods and bonded warehouse, clean, well-managed warehouse and storage facilities. • Control checks on entry & exit of goods, • Security of high standard, • Adequate insured private warehousing space, • Help our client to reduce fixed overheads, increase efficiency , cut down valuable management time and offer great efficiency, 7. Equipment Hire Our advanced and complete fleet of specialized equipment is also available for hire. The following equipment is available for hire on customization terms: • Prime movers as stand alone or with flatbed or drop-side semi-trailer combinations. • Low loaders trailers of various load-capacity ranging from 0 – 200 metric tonnes and include low bed, step-frame and modular trailers. • Special category tow trucks that have the ability to pull cargo weighing up to 200 tonnes • Extendable trailers • Hydraulic modular trailers of various load-capacity • Truck cranes of 25, 50 and 70 tonne lifting capacity • Stanchions and other holding apparatus. • Earth moving equipment such as graders, bulldozers, back-hoe loaders, wheel loaders. Our fleet is also mainly comprised of new or less that one or two year old equipment. Our equipment is also periodically tested and certified for safety by Lloyd British Testing Ltd. Equipment includes cranes, earth moving machines, lifting equipment, lifting belts, web slings, and shackles. 8. Surveys With a complete range of Road transport Services; we leverage volumes smartly to deliver competitive road transport services to and from worldwide destinations. Through our network of experienced professionals, strong world logistics connections and flexibility, we take it upon us to yearly undertake route surveys that cover our main transport routes. From Mombasa to Hoima in Uganda and any other new routes that are required to be surveyed. Our representative’s stay close to your cargo from pick-up to delivery, keeping you closely informed of its progress updating you on the road network and conditions prior to delivery and the most relevant equipment to handle your cargo. We provide advice, technical assistance and supervision in order to guarantee safe delivery of your cargo, and give you opinion of probable costs for the various carriage before shipment Issues examined in the survey include: • Perceived causes of road crashes and accidents. • To identify any significant changes in road conditions and bridges. • Identify viable routes for over-height/weight cargo. • Identify nature and the condition of the roads before transport. • We take it upon us to survey a new route before transporting cargo to that destination. • Check the safety spots for the cargo that is travelling long distances.
