Growing up I helped my father with his maize farm, when I got older my dream was to move to Dar Es Salaam, the big city. After saving up some money and getting a loan from my father, I managed to buy my first motorcycle and I immediately moved to Dar. I stayed there for 4 years, I didn't like it at all, I always felt like an outsider. It's very busy and not so friendly. ⠀
⠀
I moved back to Iringa and bought a small farm. At the moment I grow maize and watermelons. I'm happy here, I don't think I'll leave again. This is my home". ⠀

This is Ima, Ima has been riding a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) for 12 years now. I hired Ima to take me to a village, about 65kms from Iringa Town. On the way we chatted about farms, motorcycles and just life in general.
