MOROCCO MAGIC - 9 DAYS
CASABLANCA - FEZ - SAHARA DESERT - DADES GORGES - OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH:
***1st DAY - CASABLANCA:
Meeting at Casablanca Airport. After border formalities, transfer to hotel. Depending on the flight arrival time, visit the Hassan II Mosque. Passage in the Corniche, a modern area of the city, located on the coast, accompanied by the Atlantic Ocean.
***2nd DAY - CASABLANCA / MEKNÉS / FEZ:
After breakfast , departure towards Fez.
Stop at Meknés for a guided tour, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and outside passage at the Royal Palace and Portas da Cidade (Bab Mansour). Proposal for lunch at a local restaurant.
Proceed to the Cultural and Spiritual Capital.
Arrival in Fez in the late afternoon.
***3rd DAY - FEZ:
After breakfast , guided tour of the mystical Medina of Fez.
Entering this Medina is to take a step back in centuries of history, to smell and hear the sounds of its 9000 streets. Visit the Cortumes factory, Karueein University and schools as stories are told with history! Free lunch during the visit.
Visit to the doors of the Royal Palace, passage in the Jewish quarter and panoramic views of the city. 🥣 🍯 🍯.
***4th DAY - FEZ / SAHARA DESERT:
After breakfast departure towards the desert.
Stop at Ifrane (Moroccan Switzerland) and the Cedar Forest to live with its inhabitants, the wild monkeys. Proposal for lunch during the trip.
Cross the Gorges and Vale do Ziz, filled with palm trees and family cultures.
Arrival in the desert in the late afternoon.
***5th DAY - SAHARA DESERT:
After breakfast , start the journey across the black desert to relive the adventures of Paris-Dakar, passing through its tracks. Stop to visit the nomads, enjoying a mint tea prepared with the heat of the wood, which gives energy to continue the journey. Visit to the Fossil mountain.
Lunch proposal in a Typical House. The tour of the region continues, passing through the village of Khamlia, where the black Berbers from Sudan offer the warmth and energy of the tribal sounds that emanate from their drums and castanets. This Gnawa music awakens in some people the desire to dance.
The dromedaries are already waiting patiently to transport their guests inside the dunes, right in the heart of the Sahara. In the fire, the meal takes shape for dinner served by candlelight.
This is a unique experience that allows you to experience the true spirit of life of Berber nomads.
***6th DAY - DESERT / DADES GORGES (BOUMALNE):
Suggestion of watching the sunrise on the dunes.
breakfast and return on a dromedary for the Van waiting at the end of the dunes.
We continue on our way towards Rissani, a traditional village in southern Morocco.
Visit to the Souk (traditional market and live animals market).
Walk the desert road to meet the majestic Gorges de Todra with the possibility of lunch and relax to the sound of the clear mountain water. Continue to the Gorges of Dades, making several stops to enjoy the wonders offered by Mother House.
***7th DAY - DADES GORGES / OUARZAZATE / MARRAKECH:
After breakfast , start your journey to Marrakech. Passing through the palm grove of Skoura and crossing the city of Cinema Ouarzazate - Moroccan Hollywood.
Proposal for lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue towards Ait-Ben-Haddou to visit the World Heritage site of the famous Kasbah of Ait-Ben-Haddou, the setting for international films. Continue to Marrakech, crossing the magnificent High Atlas mountains, whose highest point reaches 2260mt of altitude.
Arrival in the late afternoon.
***8th DAY - MARRAKECH - DISCOVER THE RED CITY:
In the morning after breakfast , cultural visit with a local guide through the old Medina of Marrakech and its souks (markets). Colorful city with a special movement. Land of sultans and concubines, its richness is reflected in the palaces and gardens that fill the city with color and glory. People from all over the world fill the streets and riads, giving life to its famous Djamaa El Fna Square.
***9th DAY - MARRAKECH / AIRPORT (CASABLANCA / MARRAKECH):
Breakfast and free time until transfer to the airport, from Marrakech or Casablanca, depending on the airport agreed.
