All of April’s pets have already been united safe and sound with their owners 🐾🥳
But… the trip was a little bumpy—literally—with a delay we’re still working through.
Delays happen… but that doesn’t make them any easier.
When it comes to international pet transport, there are so many moving parts—owners flights, paperwork, weather, customs, civil climate—and sometimes one small bump in the road can snowball into something much bigger. That’s exactly where we are right now… currently experiencing our longest delay yet.
So what do we do when this happens?
We adjust. We problem solve. We keep going.
While plans may pause, your pet’s care never does. Meals are still on time. Potty breaks still happen. Comfort, reassurance, patience—it all continues, no matter how long the wait becomes.
But behind the scenes, the reality is heavier than most people see. Delays like this bring long days that turn into longer nights. Little sleep. Constant rerouting. Emotions that swing from hopeful to overwhelmed in a matter of minutes. There are moments of stress, moments of tears, and moments where we’re running purely on determination—pushing through exhaustion to make sure every pet stays safe, calm, and cared for.
We’re thinking, adjusting plans on the fly, and doing everything in our power to keep things moving forward… even when it feels like everything is working against us.
We take a lot of pride in being dependable. So when something outside of our control shifts the timeline, it sits heavy with us in a way that’s hard to fully explain. 💛
We know delays are stressful for pet parents, too. Your patience, your understanding—it truly means more to us than you know. Please know that behind the scenes, we are doing everything possible to handle every curveball with care, safety, and intention.
At the end of the day, we come back to what matters most:
Your pets are safe. They are cared for. And they are surrounded by someone who truly loves what they do.

While all pets have been delivered, our van and Moises are at the mechanics just a few hours outside Villahermosa - Yes we do service our van between each trip. Yes we do everything proactive we can possibly do to prevent malfunction. And yet, a piece of debris can catch from the road and cause a cascade of issues. Sigh. Mechanic's giving the green light soon to head the last 9 hours home! One last stop at our main mechanic to test everything under the sun & we'll be back out on-time for May! 🚐😎
