The Role:
Our Fleet Supervisor is responsible in monitoring the performance of our mechanics and the maintenance and repair of our e-scooters. Reporting to the Founder and Operating Manager, a Fleet Supervisor also ensures that our warehouse is operating efficiently, safely and in accordance with OoGyaa’s standard operating procedures.
This role may also have the opportunity to streamline warehouse and repair processes and spearhead the growth of OoGyaa by proactively contributing to other launch initiatives across Malaysia.
Fleet Supervisor Job Description:
Perform basic administrative tasks, such as shift scheduling and manpower deployment and planning for the warehouse and stocktakes.
Analyze deployment of E-Scooters logs
Re-view timeliness of scheduled deployment of E-Scooters.
Inspect and track E-Scooters operating levels
Swap batteries and perform on-site maintenance of E-Scooters, ensuring our high quality control measures are met at all times.
Ensure that E-Scooters and facility equipment are properly maintained.
Ensuring that the service and repair E-Scooters are conducted as scheduled.
Ensure the operations team performs quality control and basic maintenance on the e-scooters.
Order new supplies in a timely manner
Constantly work to improve processes
Make suggestions for productivity improvements
Optimize team's workflow
Communicate and collaborate with other team members
Train, guide and evaluate new operation team members
Warehouse Supervisor requirements and qualifications:
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Ability to service and repair e-scooters, including comfort with lifting, carrying and manoeuvring 25-28 kg as needed.
A hands-on approach to leadership - our Fleet Supervisor is comfortable “leading by example,” working alongside our mechanics.
A process-driven mentality, with experience defining best practice warehouse procedures.
Flexible work schedule with the ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed, especially during new location launch periods.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Ability to multi-task and keep up with a dynamic, fast-paced startup in a high-growth phase.
A keen curiosity in shared mobility and a growth mindset.
Prior experience working in ride-sharing or delivery companies preferred
Malay speaker with bilingual proficiency in English
