Refer to announcement by Minister of Transport Malaysia on 24 Apr 2025, the enforcement of restrictions on hauliers carrying containers exceeding the BGK to/from Port Klang has been postponed from 01 May 2025 to 01 JUL 2025.

🚛Back-to-Back Containers:
🔹Import: Booking will be automatically rejected if BGK is exceeded.
🔹Export: Vehicles will be weighed at the port entrance. If found to exceed the BGK 3 times within 1 calendar month, the vehicle will be prohibited from picking up or delivering laden back-to-back containers to/from the port.

🔴Side loader trailers are strictly prohibited for laden back-to-back import/export containers.

✅Single Containers are still allowed as usual until 31 Dec 2025.

🚫The transportation of back-to-back containers exceeding the BGK to a staging location outside the port, which are then brought into the port, is strictly prohibited.

🚨Take Note: Effective 1 JAN 2026, a TOTAL BAN will apply to all hauliers transporting single or back-to-back containers exceeding BGK to/from Port Klang – covering both import and export.
