𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗸𝘆𝗮𝗻, 𝗽𝘂𝘄𝗲𝗱𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 - 𝗟𝗧𝗢

MAAARING tumagal na lang ng lima hanggang sampung minuto ang transaksyon ng pagpapa-renew ng rehistro ng sasakyan gamit ang online portal ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) o ang Land Transportation Management System (LTMS).

Ini-anunsyo ni LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Jose Arturo Tugade na simula ngayong araw ay maaari nang makapagpa-renew ng rehistro ng sasakyan nang hindi kailangang pumila sa mga district office ng ahensya at magagawa na ito kahit nasaan ng may-ari ng sasakyan basta’t mayruong internet connection.

Ayon kay Tugade, kinakailangan lamang na mayruong account sa LTMS upang sa online portal na maisagawa ang transaksyon.

Gayunman, nilinaw ng LTO na kabilang sa mga maaaring makapagtransaksyon ng plain renewal ng rehistro ay ang mga mayruon nang rekord ng motor vehicle registration renewal gamit ang LTMS.

Kung wala pa sa LTMS ang detalye ng rehistro ng sasakyan, maaaring magtungo sa kahit saang LTO district office upang mismong ang mga tauhan na ng ahensya ang magtransaksyon sa online portal bagamat sa susunod na taon na magre-renew ng rehistro ay lalabas na ang detalye ng inyong sasakyan at pupuwede na ring gawing online ang pagpaparehistro.

Ipinaalala ni Tugade na bago ang transaksyon sa online ng pagpaparehistro ng sasakyan, kailangan munang kumuha ng Certificate of Coverage (COC) o insurance na pinili ng may-ari ng sasakyan; at naisalang na sa inspeksyon ng Private Motor Vehicle Inspection Center (PMVIC).

“Both the validated insurance and the motor vehicle inspection report (MVIR) will be electronically sent to the LTMS,” dagdag pa ni Tugade.

Sinabi ni Tugade na hindi kailangang tapusin lang ng isang araw ang proseso ng pagpaparehistro.

“If your plate number ends with 3, you have the whole month to get your choice of insurance coverage, have your vehicle inspected in any PMVIC near you, and access the LTMS portal for the online renewal. There’s no need for vehicle owners to spend a whole day renewing the registration of their vehicles,” paliwanag pa ni Tugade.
