🚦In commemoration of the National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash victims, survivors and their families 2025, under the theme "Journey to Zero," the LTO EB Magalona District Office conducted a Road Safety Seminar aimed at increasing awareness and enchancing the knowledge of road users.

A Pledge for Road Safety was done right after the seminar as a commitment to safe driving habits, which also includes being considerate of other road users and maintaining a well-conditioned vehicle. 🚗✅

The Land Transportation Office — Western Visayas (LTO-6) announces the suspension of operations at the Regional Office and all District and Extension Offices on Friday, 26 September 2025 due to the threat posed by Severe Tropical Storm “Opong.” This is to ensure the safety of everyone, both clients and LTO personnel due to the threat posed by the TS Opong

In a Memorandum Circular No. 102, Malacañang ordered the suspension of government work and classes on Sept. 26 in several areas to ensure public safety. The circular covers Metro Manila, Biliran, Eastern Samar, Northern Samar, Samar, Masbate, Romblon and Sorsogon.

LTO-6 urged the public to take precautions and avoid unnecessary travel while the storm threat persists.

Due to ongoing system adjustments during the regionwide pilot run of the Online Insurance Validation and Customer Care Program, all District and Extension Offices are hereby directed, effective 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘, 𝟐𝟒 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 and until further notice, to accept authenticated Certificates of Cover (COCs) in lieu of the validation certificates otherwise required under the Program.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 96 issued by the Office of the President, the Land Transportation Office — Western Visayas (LTO-6), including its district and extension offices and the Driver’s License Renewal Offices, will suspend official work starting 1:00 P.M. TODAY, 22 September 2025 in observance of “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga” Day.

The half-day suspension is intended to allow LTO-6 personnel to spend quality time with their families in the spirit of the occasion.

All offices are requested to make the necessary arrangements to ensure the continuity of essential services and to inform stakeholders and the public accordingly.
