BIG-TIME FUEL PRICE HIKE
Starting Tuesday, March 3, 2026, prices of gasoline will increase by P1.90/L, diesel by P1.20/L, and kerosene by P1.50/L amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
This marks the 10th straight week of price hikes for diesel and kerosene, and the 8th consecutive increase for gasoline.
In total, gasoline, diesel and kerosene prices have increased by P4.80, P8.20, and P6.20/L, respectively, since the start of the year.
Over the weekend, the US and Israel launched major airstrikes on Iran, killing Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s longtime supreme leader.
Iran retaliated with a wave of strikes across the Middle East, targeting multiple countries that host US military bases, including Bahrain and the UAE. | via Brix Lelis
