Vigan Dancing Fountain is located at the Plaza Salcedo Lagoon, this Korean-engineered attraction is the first of its kind in the country. Everyday at exactly 8 pm the fountain shows its majestic colors and wonderful sounds that entertain everyone.

In physical geography, a dune is a hill of sand built by either wind or water flow. Dunes occur in different shapes and sizes, formed by interaction with the flow of air or water.
Here in the Philippines we do have our own La Paz Sand Dunes or Bantay Bimmaboy consists of an area of approximately 85 square kilometers (52 square miles) of protected sandy coastal desert and beach close to Laoag City, the capital of the province of Ilocos Norte. The area is known locally by the name Bantay Bimmaboy, a name which refers to the common perception that the dunes resemble pigs in shape. The area is also popularly known as the Desert of the North. Activities such as 4x4 ride sand boarding and atv driving are the attractions done by tourists.

Access to the mini zoo, where Chavit’s numerous pets such as tiger, deer, ostrich, parrots, peacock, a butterfly garden, free horse riding can be found and is free for everyone, as the respectable gentleman considers this as a gift to the people.

Marcos Mausoleum located at Batac Ilocos Norte integrates both memorabilia and current resting place of Former President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos.The museum shows memorabilia of the late president, from his stint in the armed forces down to his presidency.The large and solemn mausoleum contains the glass-encased coffin in which Marcos' embalmed body has been on public display since shortly after his remains were brought home in 1993.

The Legend of Paoay

Long ago this lake is a village, blessed with a rich land together with God loving people. The villagers build a church from their small earnings in respect for their God.

As the years passed they start to grow and became rich, it can be seen through their clothes, houses and jewelry. The people starts to fight as the rivalry rose. Humility, love, respect and even their God was forgotten. Their church become a museum of their worldly things. Except for a couple who remained faithful and honest to their God. One night a visitor came and warn them to leave the village. The couple send the message to their neighbors, but no one believed them. One voice spoke to the couple to leave the village without looking back.

They followed what was told, they heard loud thunders and flashing of waters as they walk away. The cries and shout of their neighbors touch the heart of the woman deciding to look back, the man stopped him. But it was late and they both turned into stone. A beautiful lake rise and is now called as "Paoay Lake"
