ICYMI: Alex Eala’s quest for back-to-back ITF singles titles continues after the 18-year-old Filipina reached the W25 Aldershot quarterfinals behind a marathon 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory over Talia Gibson of Great Britain.

Eala and her doubles partner Urszula Radwanska, however, fell against the Japanese duo of Saki Imamura and Erina Hayashi in their last four encounter after absorbing a 4-6, 4-6 defeat.
