Partial Closure of Rightmost Lanes of Both Bounds at N.M. Rafols St. (Formerly Jazmin St.)

Attention motorists! 🚗🚕 Please be informed of a partial road closure in connection with the 90th Annual Offering Prayers to Ancestors of Cebu Long Se Temple. The Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) will implement the following traffic adjustments:

🛑 Date of Event:
Saturday, November 9, 2024
Time: 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Key Points to Remember:
• Road Closure:
The rightmost lanes of N.M. Rafols Street (formerly Jazmin Street) will be partially closed in both directions to serve as an on-street parking area for the event. The closure will span from the corner of Osmeña Blvd. up to the intersection of P. Rodriguez St.

• Event:
The closure is in observance of the 90th Annual Offering Prayers to Ancestors of Cebu Long Se Temple.

🚧 Traffic Flow Adjustments:
• Osmeña Blvd., Don Gil Garcia St., and Don Mariano Cui St. will remain open to traffic. However, expect slower movement and potential congestion near N.M. Rafols St.
• Motorists are advised to use alternate routes to avoid delays in the vicinity of the affected area.

🚗 Parking Arrangements:
• On-street parking will be available on the closed lanes of N.M. Rafols St.. Please follow the guidance of traffic enforcers to ensure orderly parking.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes ahead of time and cooperate with the on-site traffic enforcers to ensure a smooth flow of traffic during the event.

Vechiles from South bound going North (Cebu City), from National Highway, please take right turn to Diversion Road going to Provincial District Hospital.

Vehicles coming from North (Cebu City) will pass bypass road (passing Gaisano Grandmall)

Road is closed from sitio Awayan Junction (Gaisano Grand Mall) up to Carcar City Rotunda. (Main thoroughfare)

Temporary Full Road Closure for CTU 15th Anniversary

Attention motorists! 🚗🚕 The Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) announces a temporary full road closure in connection with the 15th Anniversary Celebration of Cebu Technological University - Main Campus with the theme "Honoring the Legacy of Excellence, Innovating for Future Success."

🛑 Date of Event:
Saturday and Sunday, November 9-10, 2024
Time: 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Key Points to Remember:
• Road Closure: R. Palma St. will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM on both dates to accommodate parking spaces for participants.

• Affected Areas:
R. Palma St. (between S. Osmeña Jr. Blvd. and M.J. Cuenco Ave.)
Access to Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main Campus will be limited.

🚧 Traffic Flow Adjustments: • S. Osmeña Jr. Blvd. and M.J. Cuenco Ave. will remain open for traffic, but expect congestion in the surrounding areas due to the closure.

• Motorists are advised to take alternative routes.

🚗 Parking Arrangements:
• Event participants and guests will be directed to designated parking areas on R. Palma St. Traffic enforcers and ROTC cadet students will assist with parking and guide motorists.

⚠️ We urge motorists to plan their trips ahead of time and take note of the changes in traffic flow. Please follow road signs and the instructions of on-site traffic personnel to ensure a smooth experience for all.

New Traffic Scheme
Effective: 05 November 2024

Vehicles coming from F. Zuellig Avenue going to Mandaue City Hall shall turn right on the steel bridge then proceed to S. B. Cabahug.

Those coming from the City Hall going to Cebu City and F. Zuellig must only turn right to A. Soriano Avenue as there will be no more access on the steel bridge going to Mandani Bay.

For vehicles going to Lapu-Lapu City and north, all vehicles coming from F. Zuellig will only turn right to A. Soriano and will no longer make a U-turn on S. B. Cabahug Extension.

Vehicles coming from Mandaue City Hall going to Mandaue Sports Complex or Lapu-Lapu City, must take a U-turn on S. B. Cabahug Extension, near the steel bridge, then turn right to A. Soriano Avenue.

LOOK. A new traffic scheme will be implemented on A. Soriano Avenue corner S. B. Cabahug Street starting tomorrow, November 5.

Vehicles coming from F. Zuellig Avenue going to Mandaue City Hall shall turn right on the steel bridge then proceed to S. B. Cabahug.

Those coming from the City Hall going to Cebu City and F. Zuellig must only turn right to A. Soriano Avenue as there will be no more access on the steel bridge going to Mandani Bay.
