Murmansk has got a lot of things to see: museum on atomic icebreaker Lenin, war memorial with huge soldier statue, abandoned piers in the port, a monastery built of wood in traditional Russian style, picturesque views on the city from the surr

ounding hills, lots of interesting monuments and landmarks, aviation exhibition with city panorama on the other bay-side. Usually this excursion takes about 4 hours plus add 1 hour for the excursion on icebreaker and 1-1.5 hour for museum . Also there are a lot of other activities around the city: Aurora borealis (Northern lights) hunt, excursion to Sami village of local indigenous people with reindeers and native buildings and food, excursion to husky farm, visiting Arctic ocean shore and seaside settlement Teriberka, excursion to ostrich farm. Other activities we can help in providing husky and reindeer ride, snowmobile rides in winter and ATV (all-terrain vehicle) rides in summer. Also we organize photo-tours with photographers knowing all interesting sights and good positions, discovering you the secrets of shooting in North conditions.

This start of this aurora season was not that good as in previous years. Solar activity was moderate and sky was mostly cloud. But on Sunday 25.10 the sky got clear just for one day between two cyclones and aurora hunting was successful.

Today is Murmansk day. The city was founded 104 years ago. Autumn this year is very warm,+11 today. The view of the sunny city from the hill with Alyosha monument.

Aurora season 2018/19 is over. Hundreds of people went hunting aurora with us and made their dream come true. And this season was even more successful than previous. 95% of our guests caught aurora during their visit to Murmansk. So join us next season It is possible to see aurora here from late August to middle of April.

Sometimes you go hunting aurora without hope for anything spectacular as the forecast hasn’t promised much. And then you get that amazing northern lights. So there always is a sense to have an aurora tour if there is even some possibility- you cannot predict how strong you get it. Try your chance and you can get a nice reward.

If you come to Murmansk in early autumn, September to mid-October when it is not cold and lakes are not covered with ice, you can see the reflection of aurora borealis in water. Also come in this time if you don't want to freeze. ))

In the middle of December there was a meteor shower Geminids in the sky and our visitors could get 2 amazing shows in one time. So we were lucky to catch aurora borealis and a shooting star simultaneously in that shot.
