Did you know? Inside the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, there is a beautiful library with some of the oldest and most precious Islamic books in the world.
The library holds over 4,000 manuscripts, more than 4,600 illustrated manuscripts, 7,000 rare books, and 250 ancient handwritten copies of the Holy Quran.It is located within the al-Nabawi mosque complex and houses thousands of rare manuscripts, Quranic tafsir texts, and scholarly works and entry is free and open to all during regular mosque hours.
This is one of the most special and most missed places in all of Madinah. Many pilgrims walk past it without even knowing it is there.
