Step into Adisorn and Malaya, the two dining carriages aboard the Eastern & Oriental Express, where design and dining come together in celebration of Southeast Asia’s rich landscapes and craftsmanship.

Adisorn draws inspiration from the highlands of Malaysia, where rolling hills and layered tea plantations shape the landscape. Elegant tones of green and gold, intricate upholstery, and an ombré carpet woven with gold thread reflect the textures of the region, while paying tribute to traditional Thai Ikat silk through refined design.

In contrast, Malaya takes its cues from Malaysia’s tropical beauty, with vibrant red interiors inspired by wild orchids and layers of traditional Malay batik woven throughout the carriage.
