I still can't believe this started with coffee and cheesecake.
Last year during Formula 1, we had the privilege of supporting a delegation of more than 50 guests from Saudi Aramco, the world's largest integrated oil and gas company.
This year?
They're coming back.
And this time, it's with more than 60 guests.
Yesterday, I was on a Zoom call with one of our clients, discussing the itinerary for the upcoming F1 season.
What I remember most from last year wasn't the logistics.
It was the relationship.
Somewhere along the way, we stopped becoming just another chauffeur company.
We became their unofficial personal assistants.
- Picking them up and bringing them around Singapore.
- Introducing them to specialty coffee.
(His favourite? A good V60 pour-over.)
- Going cheesecake hunting.
- Finding hidden gems.
- Making last-minute changes.
- And making sure every detail of their stay was taken care of.
This year, Veloce Limo Group will once again be providing our Butler Service throughout the Formula 1 period.
Truth be told, this is the part of the business I enjoy the most.
- Sourcing lunch and dinner venues for 60 people.
- Managing logistics on the ground.
- Coordinating movements.
- Handling unexpected requests.
- And watching everything come together.
People think we're in the limousine business.
I believe we're in the hospitality business.
And perhaps that's why clients don't just come back.
They bring their friends and colleagues with them.
To our dear friend and the entire Saudi Aramco team, thank you once again for your trust.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Singapore.
