Thailand Retains Season Opener Rights to Launch MotoGP’s Historic 2027 Era
The MotoGP Group has officially confirmed that Thailand will host the opening round of the 2027 MotoGP season at Chang International Circuit, Buriram, from March 5–7, 2027. Marking the third consecutive year as the season opener (2025–2027), Buriram will make world history by staging the first Grand Prix under the new 850cc 2027–2031 technical regulations for the 79th World Championship season.
