2020 Grads! You are invited to participate in UNM's Annual CAP OFF Competition!

Even though commencement is postponed until we can all safely come together (a decision on the date has not been made yet), the UNM social media team couldn’t bear the thought of not getting to see your caps. So, without further ado, the annual CAP OFF
competition officially starts TODAY.

This year we’re doing things a little bit differently. Whether you have your cap or not you can enter your creation in the contest under one of two entry options or both! The first (and new) option is with the blank digital template provided here in this post.

Edit it to tell your story and make it represent who you are the same way you would a physical cap. (A link to a larger file is included in our stories). The second option is the traditional option for those of you who may have your cap available.

The contest will take place as follows:
1. You post a picture of your decorated cap (digital or physical) on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #UNMCapOff20 before 12pm on 5/15/20.

2. The top 3 physical caps AND the top 3 digital caps will be posted on the @UofNM Instagram and voting via likes will run until 5pm Monday the 18th.

3. 4 winners total will be selected: The winner and runner-up of the digital contest and the winner and runner up of the physical cap decorating contest. Winners will be announced at 5:15pm Monday May 18th. #UNMGrad

Prizes:

The Young Alumni Association will be donating prizes to be mailed to the winners this year.

These changes are expected to remain in effect until the University returns to normal business on Monday, April 6. The night bus should be required to WAIT 5 DAMN MINUTES at the Duck Pond. I was walking toward the stop and the driver didn't even bother to look and consider for a second whether I might want to be a passenger. Now I'm sitting out here at 830 pm, in the Feb cold waiting for the next one, which will be at least 15 min. Great job keeping us safe. 👎
UNM PATS needs to publicly address the poor decision to add a combo route during times of high student traffic in the afternoon. Today I waited for an hour to catch a bus. I should have been able to board the fourth bus I waited for, but the driver opened the doors to passengers further back in line, without any regard to those who had been waiting longest. The students who rely on this service have responsibilities outside of class. We have children in day care, we have jobs, we have lives to live when we leave campus. If UNM PATS is unwilling to rectify the congestion during peak travel times, the least they can do is erect an awning, to prevent students from fainting under the hot sun, while bus after bus passes by.
I'm new to UNM and find the transportation services to be very confusing! If I park in the South Lot by the football field what are the UNM bus shuttle times?
Going on 4 hours now.....
Are these the REAL summer hours because I've been waiting for a T Lot shuttle for over 20 minutes. There should be 2 more hours of service...
Can you put your parking pass on your Bursur account?
