“Stretch” has officially left the building. She is headed to Fredericksburg Texas. Where she will have a bunch of little girls enjoying their ride with her.
Please excuse me as I take a moment to reminisce on the best times. And some of the worst times. This car has brought my father and I so much joy. Yesterday was my last day to wash her. And all the emotions just flooded through. My husband and my son both looked at me like I’m crazy. But this is the last thing that my father’s stroke has taken from us. He and I have thoroughly enjoyed spending the best days of peoples lives with them. And those best days were not just weddings. They were baby showers, 50th anniversaries, homecomings, proms and even a trip to a cruise ship.
Years (and years 🤪) ago, my daddy owned his first limousine in the 90s, I was brought to school in it. And I am blessed every day that my dad was able to bring my son and my niece and nephew to school in her.
When we first started this business we was not expecting life to change like it did. Even though I am very blessed to be a part of other people’s lives, I am still a part of my dad‘s life. And now it’s time to enjoy that life.
Go on “Stretch” …. make them proud 🖤
