Our next Onward Adventures Hike Shuttle is for the Neahkahnie / Oregon Coast Trail on Sunday, October 18! 🌲🌊

🚗 Meet at Elk Flats at 9:00 AM, or call me and I can pick you up in Seaside to hike. ( we will only be doing 1/2 which is still 6 miles.
🚌 Ride our shuttle from Elks Flats to Manzanita, then hike back to your car at your own pace.
💲 $10 per person—or FREE with proof of a Seaside lodging stay!

We don’t have any reservations yet—who wants to be first? Gather your hiking friends, pack your rain gear, and enjoy a day on the Oregon Coast!

5 things to know before exploring the Oregon North Coast: 🚗🌊

🛣 Check before you go. Review road conditions, weather forecasts and park alerts before heading out—especially during coastal storms or when driving over the Coast Range.

🦌 Give our elk plenty of space. Enjoy watching from a distance. Never approach or feed them, keep dogs leashed and away from wildlife, and slow down when animals are near the road. Use your camera’s zoom for that photo!

🌊 Know the tides and watch the ocean. Check tide times and beach alerts before exploring. Sneaker waves can surge farther up the beach than expected, so never turn your back on the ocean. Stay off driftwood logs near the water and always have a clear route to safety.

📱 Save your directions ahead of time. Download maps before your trip, charge your phone and bring a backup charger. Be prepared to find your way if cell service drops.

🥾 Pack for coastal weather. Bring layers, a rain jacket, sturdy shoes, water and snacks. A little preparation helps you enjoy the coast—even when the weather has other plans!

From Astoria to Cannon Beach, explore with curiosity and care. Leave no litter, respect wildlife and help keep our coast beautiful. 💚

It’s going to be a fun week with Onward Adventures! 🚌🌲🎬

📍 Wednesday, October 14: Astoria & Warrenton tour starting at 2:00 PM.

📍 Thursday, October 15: Seaside & Cannon Beach at 10:00 AM, followed by Astoria & Warrenton at 2:00 PM! The same couple booked both tours, so we’re making a full day of exploring with some Goonies-themed fun!

📍 Friday, October 16: I’ll be out with a group for a private event.

🥾 Sunday, October 18, at 9:00 AM: Our third Sunday hike shuttle! Park at Elk Flats, and I’ll shuttle you to Manzanita to hike back along the Oregon Coast Trail through the Neahkahnie area.

Rain or shine, we’re heading out! Bring your rain gear, sturdy hiking shoes, water, and a sense of adventure. 🌦️

The hike shuttle is $10 per person, or free with proof of an overnight stay in Seaside. Advance reservations are required.

Our Tillamook Head Trail hike shuttle for Sunday, October 11, has been canceled due to low registration. We want to make sure our hiking adventures are safe and enjoyable for everyone!

But we’re already taking reservations for next Sunday, October 18!

Tomorrow is our first hike shuttle, and we have five people signed up! 🥾🌲 I’m looking forward to hiking the Fort to Sea Trail and kicking off this new adventure together!

We’ll meet at Sunset Beach at 9:00 AM, shuttle to Fort Clatsop, and hike back to our vehicles. What a great way to explore with a little company along the trail! 🌊

Such a great day to show off Astoria and Warrenton! ☀️ Blue skies, movie landmarks, coastal history, and a fun group made for plenty of smiles along the way.

Sure wish a few more shops had been open—our guests would have loved more time to browse and support our local businesses! ❤️
