WAV Transport is looking for someone special as a driver for our riders. Join a growing Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) company and be an integral part of this important service in our community. Work directly to develop this best-in-class organization focused on transporting people for hospital discharges, medical appointments, family gatherings, outings and more. Drivers will transport our clients from home, living facilities, rehab facilities, etc. We drive Mercedes Benz Sprinters with state-of-the-art equipment. We are providing a high level of service in a growing segment of our community. Initial training for all drivers is paid by company.

Requirements:
* Current Oregon driver's license
* Must submit to a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) indicating clean driving record.
* Must pass criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment.
* 21 years of age or older
* Responsible, reliable, neat in appearance, well groomed.
* Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules.
* Excellent customer service skills and willing to represent our company in a professional manner.
* Comfortable operating mobile communications and navigation systems.
* Able to assist people in wheelchairs and follow company guidelines regarding their safe and comfortable transport.
*Military Veterans, EMT/EMS training, or medical related experience is an advantage. Semi Retired persons would be good candidates for us. Drivers with previous experience, especially medical and/or wheelchair transportation, will put you at the top of the list.
Hourly compensation, paid training and advancement within the company are available. Starting pay is $14.00/hour. Compensation increases based on experience and performance.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Drivers are responsible for Pre/Post Shift duties including, vehicle inspection, cleaning, stocking, etc.
Professional and Safe driving to pick up and destination of personal and medical related trips is most important.
Must be able to provide solutions when needed and deal with adversity in, and around, medical facilities.
Will be transporting and securing riders with a wide range of physical limitations and be able to handle them with care and respect.
Must be able to utilize mobile devices including, mobile phone, tablet, Two Way radio and others required for performing and tracking trips. Will also have to keep written records for company accounting purposes.
Must be able to pass all certification, training and evaluation as required by Federal, State and Company.
