Bedford Otter Bus Bedford Otter Bus exists to connect residents to basic needs for healthy living. BOB can get you there! Let's ride the Otter Bus and show there is a need for it!

The Bedford Community Health Foundation, with help from the Town of Bedford, has launched the Otter Bus.

03/16/2026

3/16/26: Otter bus service cancelled Monday due to expected severe weather.

02/04/2026

2/4/26: Otter Bus is operating with Snow Routes.

Routes as normal: Salem Court, Walmart, and Hospital

Snow Routes are: Powderhorn, Elba, Pinecrest, Food Lion, Westgate, John Early and the YMCA. These stops are just before or just after the regular stop to the pull into each area.

Routes that are a No Go are: Post Office, Go Mart, Horizon, Hampton Ridge, Old Middle School, and the Health Department.

02/01/2026

2/2/26: The Otter Bus will be closed Monday.

01/30/2026

1/31/26: The Otter Bus will be closed Saturday.

01/29/2026

1/30/26: The Otter Bus will be closed Friday.

1/28/26: Otter Bus Cancelled for Wednesday.

1/26/26: Otter Bus Service Cancelled for Monday.

01/24/2026

1/24/26: The Otter Bus will be ending service at 1:00pm today. The last loop will be at 12:00pm.

01/19/2026

1/19/26: Otter Bus will be delayed 2 hours.

01/17/2026

1/17/26: 2 hour delay. Otter Bus will start at 11:00am due to weather.

12/12/2025

December 12, 2025: No Otter Bus service (Friday) due to a weather alert. Evening Christmas Lights tour is cancelled.

12/08/2025

December 8, 2025: No Otter Bus service (Monday) due to a weather alert.
