COCC Students - It's time to hop on board, for FREE! 🤩

COCC and Cascades East Transit have partnered to provide free rides to COCC students and staff on CET's Bend Fixed Routes and Community Connector shuttles through the rest of the 2026 calendar year.

Here's how to get started:
1) Download the CET Go App in the App Store or Google Play Store
2) Select "Create An Account"
3) Use your '.edu" email upon signup - and that's it! Your transit benefit will appear on your app the following business day.

Lastly, a reminder! Route 3 takes you right to COCC campus. For on campus residents - try Route 3 to take you downtown for a mid-day lunch break or study session.

Calling all Summit Storm! ⛈️

Summit students can catch Route 3 at the Mount Washington & Ordway Avenue stop, a 9 minute walk from campus.

If you live along Newport Avenue, Route 3 can be your new way to get straight to school. It also runs every 15 minutes around midday, making it easy to hop on for a quick lunch run to Newport Avenue Market. Route 3 can also get you to COCC to check out classes or campus life, or all the way into downtown Bend for shopping and food.

Meet Manny! 🤠

If you’ve ever ridden with Manny, you know that he is genuine, kind, and always good for a laugh. He goes out of his way to make sure riders get where they need to go, whether that’s helping someone find the right route or translating for our Spanish-speaking passengers.

“I was born to drive! My favorite part aside from that is helping riders, treating them with kindness and respect, and talking with them.”

You can find Manny driving Route 7 on our Bend fixed-route service. Just look for the only CET cowboy hat in town 👀

Hey, Deschutes River High School! Do you know your route? 👀

Deschutes River students can catch Route 5 at the 5th Street @ Kearney Avenue stop, only a 2-minute walk from campus.

Hop on Route 5 to grab lunch at Midtown Yacht Club, ride home if you live along Wells Acres Avenue, or take a quick 10 minute walk to Hawthorne Station to connect with any of our Bend fixed routes and head to places like downtown Bend or the new Central Library!

Labor Day Service Closure

CET will not be operating fixed routes, Community Connectors, or Dial-A-Ride services on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

We will resume services on Tuesday, September 8th.

Ride the River and Lava Butte shuttle services will operate on Labor Day for their final day of the summer season.

If you haven’t before, you might start to see these popping up all over town! We’ve installed over 50 of these seats at our bus stops in the past month as a part of our Bus Stop Improvement Plan.

We hope this makes your time waiting for us that much more comfortable.
