If you are a member of Visit Big Bear, you can now vote for Jazzy Bear owner, Jazmin, for the Supporting Member/Business seat. An email has gone out from the visitor center to all members as of this morning. If you’re an employee or contractor at a business in this category, tell your owners and managers to vote! We appreciate your support.
Jazmin’s campaign statement:
I am Jazmin Delaney and I hope to earn your vote for the upcoming Visit Big Bear Board of Directors “board member from supporting members/businesses” position. I am the owner of Jazzy Bear Ride Service and have lived in Big Bear full time for nearly six years. Prior to that, I was a seasonal visitor for nearly 20 years, vacationing at our family home in Moonridge. My long-time interest in the evolution of Big Bear and what we have to offer for locals and visitors alike is fueled by my current involvement with the VBB board meetings, partnership with the visitor center, and long-time residency in our great valley.
As a board member, I promise to bring new perspective to the board as a new business category not yet represented. I also hope to bring more insights and involvement from the perspective of the schools and youth in the valley. I want to ensure the impact of our decisions on them is taken into account so we engage and connect with the next generation of Big Bear residents who will continue to evolve our foundational events, activities, and businesses.
