Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
Keep logs on work and issues
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Preform vehicle road-test after repairs

Due to inclement weather, Birmingham Yellow Cab will not be transporting any passengers starting at 8 PM tonight, Monday, February 15th until the weather improves. We will reevaluate the weather situation tomorrow afternoon to determine when we will be able to resume transporting passengers. Check back with us for updates.

To cooperate with social distancing measures, our drivers stand ready to transport any and all people in the Greater Birmingham Area who prefer to travel alone.

BIRMINGHAM YELLOW CAB, who has been a Greater Birmingham Area transportation provider for over 20 years, has implemented the following procedures to ensure the safety and health of riders and drivers:

• Our drivers are supplied with disinfectant cleaner and gloves and they are instructed to wipe down door handles, credit card machines and the passenger compartment after each trip.
• We check our drivers’ temperature daily and they are instructed to stay home if they feel sick.
• All our vehicles have cameras and GPS tracking.

While our main focus is passenger transportation, we are also available to provide transportation of food, packages and other goods.

We cannot stress enough that we believe in responsible and safe transportation.

Transportation is who we are, and it is important to us that you feel confident when choosing to travel with Greater Birmingham Transportation Services and our Yellow Cab division. Please know that every one of our drivers is supplied with disinfectant spray and is instructed to wipe down the taxi door handles and passenger compartment after every trip.

Our Yellow Cab drivers are eager to assist where needed. While our main focus has been on passenger transportation, we are also available to provide transportation of food, packages and other goods.
