Today was a very special and emotional day for me personally and for all of us at Neek Taxi Service. ❤️

Most people only see the rides, the phone calls, or the finished work out on the road, but they don’t always see the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything moving every single day. Julie has been a huge part of that.

Not only is she our assistant office administrator here at Neek Taxi Service, but she’s also my daughter — and today she graduated from WCCTC. 🎓

Watching your child grow up is emotional enough, but watching them work hard, stay dedicated, and begin building their future while helping support a family business behind the scenes makes a parent incredibly proud.

She helps answer calls, keeps things organized, helps hold everything together during stressful days, and does so much more than people realize. Seeing her hit this milestone today reminds me just how fast time goes by.

Julie, I am beyond proud of you. No matter where life takes you, you’ll always have your Neek Taxi family behind you cheering you on. 💛🚕

Yesterday we had the opportunity to drop off six Appalachian Trail hikers at Grayson Highlands State Park. 🏔️

They’re taking on the 30+ mile hike back to Damascus, VA, and we were honestly excited for them—it’s always great being part of someone’s adventure like that.

This was a last-minute call. They were having trouble finding a ride out of Damascus, but we were able to work them into our schedule with no problem.

That’s exactly what we do at Neek Taxi Service LLC—whether it’s last-minute or planned ahead, we do everything we can to make it happen.

Please note that Downtown Trick-or-Treat has a new time this year!!

State Street will be closed to traffic starting at 5pm for the Halloween fun to continue as downtown merchants remain open for trick-or-treating at various shops along State Street from 5pm until 7pm or until the candy runs out!
