A History of Great Service

Harms Oil Company was founded by Duane Harms in 1976. With three trucks and three employees, Harms Oil set out to serve farm and commercial customers in the Aberdeen, South Dakota area. Along with the withdrawal of several major oil companies from the area in the early 1980’s, came the opportunity to provide a needed service to those businesses left without supply. Throughout the following years, Harms Oil continued to expand, steadily building a reputation as “the friendly people”.

Today, Harms Oil Company and its sister company, Dakota Oil, proudly serve hundreds of customers throughout the upper Midwest with a fleet of more than 100 transport trucks, bulk fuel and rail terminals, and warehousing operations. #harmsoil #transport #transportation #trucking #hazmat #tanker #petroleum
