We are open to any and all possible leads. We appreciate any help you can provide and are very grateful.
We are looking for 1999-2002 (approximate) Toyota 4Runner (Limited). The color is either Black or Dark Blue with a Gold or possibly a Silver trim package. The SUV was traveling south on NC-61. There could be a link to an incident, also a hit-and-run, that happened hours later in Hope Mills, NC where two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle identified with the same feature, make, and model. Any information is warranted and could help. Eye witness accounts say the may have been a handicap placard or similar object hanging from the rear view mirror, as well as a scratch for damage that appeared to be white in color on the rear or back of the vehicle. There also may be front-end damage to the vehicle from either incident. We appreciate everyone's prayers and the outreach we have received from the community. We are so thankful for everyone who has been and is willing to help with the investigation. Thank you.
