No matter what you do, if you are a business owner, you are in the business of sales....
So, how do you go about finding someone to buy your widgets?
Your first step is to go where you are celebrated, not where you are tolerated.
After that, you need to find who you want to work with and how you want to bring them to you.
Here is what I have found:
There are two types of buyers (generally speaking)
1. Cost Only
These buyers want to get as much as possible for as little as possible.
2. Trust/Relational based
This person would rather build a long-term relationship than save a few dollars.
Which of these do you think is easier to work with? Dare I say downright enjoyable to work with?
Hint: It's your trust-based buyer
Your job as a business owner is to find people and businesses who want to evolve and grow with you.
What are your favorite ways to go about finding relational buyers?
