2 pretty ladies made their way from the breeder at Shomaker Farms back home to Tuscan Ridge. I always enjoy hauling for Tuscan because their horses are so good & easy to handle! 🤗 can’t forget absolutely gorgeous, even if Flirt had just rolled when I got there to pick up 🤣

This week’s schedule was a little thrown off due to some truck repairs. As I was headed back from Texas last weekend, I got less than 10 miles from home and my truck went into limp mode. I was SO grateful to be close to home and I was able to get home and drop the trailer. What we originally thought was my turbo going out ended up being the intercooler pipe to the turbo. Praise The Lord! 🙏🏼

While I’m so glad it wasn’t as big of a repair as I had thought, it did send me down a rabbit hole of learning about piping kits and all the custom colors I can get… 💕 I definitely see some custom upgrades coming to the hauling rig sooner rather than later 🤭😂

Of course as soon as I backed up to the chute to load them, a thunderstorm broke loose. ⛈️
I was soaked from head to toe and even my boots had water in them! 😂 I was able to change my clothes, but I’d be willing to bet my drivers seat is still wet today 🤦🏼‍♀️☔️
That sweet little baby made the whole trip like a champ and looked just as healthy at unloading as he did when he loaded. THAT is something I’m extremely proud of 🩷😁 fresh calves are finicky IYKYK & I’ll leave it at that 💁🏼‍♀️

What a week!!

Monday morning I had an appointment for an alignment on my truck. They informed me that I needed some front end work. Maintenance is part of the game, especially when you’re traveling as many miles as I do.

While at the truck shop, I got a call from one of my clients that her horse needed to be transported to the vet asap! I made calls nonstop until I finally got my brother lined up to transport her horse. He got her there and she is still in veterinary care & having tests done. Please pray for Jazzy 🩷

Wednesday I transported a sweet mini donkey up to KY! She is adorable & her new home is fabulous. She’s going to be living it up with her new mini donkey friend! 🤗

Thanks to my parents for letting me use their pull truck on Wednesday while mine was still getting worked on. Hello, new front end! 😍

Yesterday I transported Simba from TN to GA. He had been raised on a bottle & is such a sweet little calf! I say little but he was every bit of 300 pounds. Trust me, I had to help push him onto the trailer 😂 he went to live at a sanctuary with some of the biggest & friendliest cows I’ve ever met! He is going to have an amazing life there! 🥹

Thank you for following along on my little adventures. I truly love what I do and still cannot believe I get to meet so many awesome people & be trusted to care for their wonderful animals. I’m living my dreams because of all of you! Thank you 🩷

Peanut Butter

This was my second time hauling this perfect little pony! My countless time hauling for Tuscan Ridge. Their horses are ALWAYS so well behaved and such a pleasure to have on my trailer.

PB went from TN to WV. We did an evening pick up last night & an early morning delivery today. He is seriously the sweetest little guy & his new owner already loved him from the second he stepped off the trailer. ❤️

I hauled the absolute CUTEST filly the other day! From MS to TN. She’s a 2 year old with a remarkable set of papers. She was quiet & easy to load & she hauled great for not really traveling much. My favorite part about her is her eyes. She had the most calm eyes and you don’t find that on a whole lot of young horses. They always have some white around them. 🤣 But she didn’t at all. She just took it all in. ❤️ I can’t wait to see what this solid red filly turns out to be! 🤗

Thankful for another busy week!

I carried a gorgeous blue roan gelding from TN to KY. He’s the real deal and went to the trainer to be fitted and listed for sale. 😍 if anyone is looking for a rope/cow horse, Rowan is your guy! He trailered super well and I loved getting to meet him. His owner is a loyal customer of mine and always has super nice horses!

I traveled to MS to bring some cute babies back to TN for another repeat customer. He always has awesome AQHA horses for sale & I even still own one I personally bought from him about 3 years ago 😂 he’s already booked me to go get another one next week. I have no doubt these babies are going to be NICE! Great papers & beautiful colors!!

I made a short local delivery in Middle TN to some first time horse owners! They were so nice and excited when I pulled up with their new best friend! The lady also complimented my backing skills with my land yacht and trailer I drive around 💁🏼‍♀️🤣

Raven was hauled twice this week. Once to TN Equine and then 2 days later I drove her back home. Raven is a special lady. She’s a Friesian Curly cross 😍 and only has one eye! She has thick, curly hair that is so soft to the touch. Honestly I’m jealous of her hair! Her feathers on her legs are just curls. She was such a neat and special girl to get to know. Her owner was amazing and I’m super thankful Raven had such an awesome owner for me to work with.

Warmer weather is keeping me busy, and I couldn’t be happier! Now if these fuel prices would come down, we’d be ready to rock & roll.

Wolf Creek Ranch has a horse show today, so I won’t be answering messages until this evening or tomorrow. I’ll be doing what my heart LOVES… Showing horses!! 🤩

Bucy 🤎

I was happy to bring this sweet girl from AL to TN yesterday. She hauled like a dream! I hear she even went to Paint World in her younger years. No wonder she was an old pro on the trailer. 😂

Her new owner was Miss Rodeo Tennessee back in the day! She’s been retired for several years and decided it was time to get back in the saddle. Literally! I was honored that such a horsewoman trusted me to transport her new mount. 🥰

She said “I instantly thought of you because I knew you’d take care of her” and that means more to me than anything! I love for people to know their animals are in the best hands when they’re traveling with me.
